As we excitedly wait for the warmer weather, we can’t stop thinking about our favorite seasonal trends inspired by everything spring. These include fun shades of pastels, vintage-inspired florals, romantic, soft fabrics, and flowy dresses.
There are just so many options in the spring! In our opinion, the best part of spring is the color pallette. It’s the time of year where you can bust out the pastels and anything meant to lighten up the mood. Winter essentials are now in the closet for next year, and it’s time to bloom with the plants and unleash your inner summer. Check out some of our favorite spring fashion tips and building blocks to help you get in touch with one of nature’s most inspiring seasons!
Don’t be afraid of different colors! Monochromatic color palettes are extremely popular, and it’s refreshing to know that vibrant shades of yellowy-greens, soft lilacs, icy pinks, and silvery blues will be making a comeback this season. Mauves, tans, and other neutral shades remind us balance is key. Try pairing a new color with something you are comfortable in, like pairing a new pink chiffon top with your favorite pair of khaki crops. Lighten up your wardrobe with these super fun shades and don’t be afraid to rock them a little early. It’s all about you and how confident YOU feel in them! Color is your friend.
Prints and fabrics to swoon over. We’ve spent all winter researching what to invest in during our spring shopping spree. We’ve come across feminine and vintage-like florals, polka dots, and chic, ditsy, repetitive printing. We’ve also been seeing a huge comeback in the world of ruffles, satin/tulle, thin and dainty pin-stripes, embellished tops, embroidered denim, and lots of chambray. Try pairing a pastel with similar tones of the same pastel for a monochromatic look that screams unique.
Silhouettes and styles to make your own. Men’s inspired collared button-ups, lightweight layers, pastel skinnies, wide-leg denim, and flowy slip dresses are key to pulling off the ideal girly-girl look for spring. This season is all about reconstructed garments and statement pieces, so push yourself to try something new with a different silhouette or style. If you’re not comfortable in wide-leg denim, throw on your favorite pant/capri with a new bell-sleeve top or floral blouse with ruffles. A classic feminine-styled look can be achieved by mixing girly prints with flirty colors, or by a simple silhouette- like a babydoll dress. Let your inner ladylike style shine!
