Join Us at the LA Times Festival of Books

Break out the surfboards, call the Kardashian’s and gas up the convertible – Swap.com is coming to Los Angeles! We’re bringing the Swap Movement to the University of Los Angeles campus for the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books.

We’re excited to see all our West Coast friends, and meet new friends, and to help break the ice we’re hosting a live book swap from booth #644 in Zone F. Here’s how it works:

We’re bringing 500 books to the show from all genres including children’s, sports, fiction, non-fiction, business and travel books, and 50 of those books will be from one best-selling author. All you have to do is bring us a book and grab for one of the ones we brought, and maybe you’ll get one of the autographed copies! The books that you bring us will be donated to charity at the end of the event.

The largest and most prestigious book festival in the country, the LA Times Festival of Books is held on the UCLA campus and attracts more than 130,000 book lovers annually.

“A live swap ups the excitement that book lovers derive from getting new titles in exchange for ones they have previously read,” says Carl Schwartz, Vice President of Marketing at Swap.com. “Swap.com members – or “Swappers” – are voracious readers and they love sharing their favorite books with peers who share their passion for reading.”
