Russell Brand is joining the Swap Movement.
The comedian and actor is scheduled to host ‘Buy Love Here,’ a swap-meet-type event on Thursday, May 27, in Los Angeles. Buy Love Here attendees can bring used goods and trade them for anything from clothing to electronics.
The event is a “social experiment” that will create a sense of community and reveal what people are willing to trade and what they find most valuable, explains Brand. The Buy Love Here event is part of a documentary Brand is filming called “Happiness,” which takes a look at the pursuit of happiness in the modern world.
Scheduled to appear at the event is singer Katy Perry, actor Adrian Grenier and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. Are you going? What are you swapping?
