Coming soon to Swaptree are two new categories: Blu-ray and audio books (and cheers erupt from fans in the stands!). That’s right, Swappers — you’ve been begging us for the ability to trade blu-ray discs and audio books and we are heeding your call and implementing the categories on our site.
Dust of your blu-rays and box up your audio books! In about 6 weeks from today (early Aug. 2010) you’ll have the ability to swap your blu-ray discs and audio books for other media items on the site.
It’s been a busy June at Swaptree, so let’s review the changes taking place behind the scenes:
- New member welcome page
- Addition of retro game consoles including Sega Genesis, Nintendo and Playstation 1
- Implementation of Blue-ray and audio books categories
- The addition of more than 197,000 to our database (170,000 of which are books!)
Whew! Time to get swapping (but only after we take a much needed 3-day weekend and celebrate our nation’s birthday).
