Swap of the Day: Clipping and Swapping for a Cause

Coupon clipping swapCoupons always remind me of my grandmother.  She used cut them all out of the Sunday papers and arrange them alphabetically in a special coupon box that she took with her on every shopping trip.  For the longest time, I thought this strange little ritual was something only my grandmother and her friends took part in.

Turns out that couponing is making a comeback in a big way (TLC’s Extreme Couponing comes to mind).  And why shouldn’t it?  Coupons save money and in the case of the Cape Clippers Coupon Swap can be used for a good cause!

The Cape Clippers not only allow members to request and swap unwanted coupons, they also donate the little money savers to U.S. military personnel overseas.  The military personnel can use the coupons beyond the expiration date which ensures that they get all the savings donated! At Swap.com we can’t think of a more fantastic way to give back to our servicemen and women than by swapping and passing the savings onto them!

The group is also working to get donations to local food pantries via the clipping abilities of the members. To learn more about clipping for a cause, check out the great article featured in Cape Cod Today.
