Swapping Takes Spain By Storm

Swapping in SpainAlthough we mostly talk about the exciting ways people are embracing the swapping lifestyle here in in America, the desire to swap your goods and services knows no borders. The swap movement can be found all around the world. Take Spain for example, where in metropolis of Barcelona swapping events have become quite common, particularly in the Sagrada Familia neighborhood.

Swapping events have become a regular attraction for the city’s young and old alike. People have been known to come from miles around for the chance to trade their goods with others. Much like Swap.com, attendees will often setup 3-way swaps, to ensure that more people are able to walk away with exactly what they’re after. Best of al it all takes place for free, just like on our site, because swapping isn’t about exchanging money, it’s about exchanging things you have.  Take a look at this short video to see the Spanish swappers in action.

We’re just excited about swapping events as everyone in the video, which is why we’ve setup our very own Swap.com events listings where you can go to find and host swap meets in your local area.
